BROOKHAVEN, Ga. - Police in Brookhaven said a person died once multiple people were shot at an apartment complex off of Buford Highway on Sunday. 

Authorities said someone requested 911 at around 10:35 a.m. to report a shooting Officers went into one of the apartments at the 3100 clogged of Buford Highway and found four people with gunshot wounds. 

Medics rushed three of the republic shot to a nearby hospital. At last report, they are in defective condition. 

The fourth, identified as 44-year-old Jose Manuel Ozuna-Ruiz, was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to investigators, the shooting happened after an argument between Ozuna-Ruiz and one of the injured men. Police counterfeit the firearm used in the shooting inside the apartment listed with another firearm.

The alleged shooter, who has not been identified, has been charged with felony murder and aggravated assault.
